Kyabram District Health Service acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land and pay our respects to Elders both past and present.
It is important that interactions in our health service are respectful and effective to help community members access mainstream healthcare services.
Aboriginal Health is governed by the Community & Cultural Governance Committee. Committee membership includes members of the Aboriginal community and members of the Kyabram community and members of the Board of Directors.
The purpose of the committee includes improving consumer health outcomes and satisfaction with services.
In achieving its purpose, the Aboriginal Health Community Engagement Committee will assist Kyabram District Health Service to appropriately integrate consumer and community engagement at all levels of its operations, planning and policy development.
